James joined the department in July 2010 to give back to the area he grew up in, and has since been a very active member of the department in multiple aspects. Currently, he serves as the department's Training Officer, holds a seat on the PWC FRS Training Advisory Committee, and formerly served as Vice President of the department's Board of Directors. Outside of the firehouse, he enjoys fishing, hunting, and weightlifting.
