As things were winding down from a very uneventful day, Communications advised Engine 508 to head towards Fairfax Station 417 to fill in. Fairfax units were operating on a 2 alarm fire in the Centreville area. With 5 men aboard, E508 backed into Station 417 and remained there for about 6 hours. E508 ran 3 calls while staffing station 417. Fairfax communications finally advised Engine 508 to head back to quarters a little after 00:00 |
