Ambulance 508A

2003 International/Excellance

Ambulance 508A (A508) is a 2004 International 4200 VT365 and was manufactured by Excellance, Inc. We operate this unit solely as a Basic Life Support unit. It is setup with multiple IV bag hangers and lockable cabinets so it could be used as an Advanced Life Support unit if we were to put qualified personnel and equipment on it. A508A has the ability to transport two BLS patients on backboards if it becomes a necessity.

Ambulance 508B

2018 Ford F550

Ambulance 508B (A508B) is a 2018 Ford F550 and was manufactured by Horton Emergency Vehicles. We operate this unit solely as a Basic Life Support unit. It is setup with multiple IV bags hangers and lockable cabinets so it could be used as an Advanced Life Support unit if we were to put qualified personnel and equipment on it. It also features the Stryker PowerLoad system, which eliminates the need to manually load the stretcher into the back A508B has the ability to transport two BLS patients on backboards if it becomes a necessity.

Engine 508B

2008 E-One Cyclone II

Engine 508B (E508B) is 2008 E-One Cyclone II Custom Pumper, which replaced our 1988 E-One Hurricane. It has a 750 gallon water tank with a 1500 Gallon Per Minute pump, a 20 gallon foam tank, six pre-connected hose lines, 1500’ - 4” supply line. Engine 508B is equipped with eight quartz lights and night scan Light Tower. It is also equipped with an on-board computer system which features built in GPS, Camera System, System Diagnostics and much more. Engine 508B and Engine 508A are virtually identical.

Gator 508

Gator 508 (GT508) is a 2012 Polaris Ranger XP800. It has seating for 2 EMS providers, a bed skid with a stretcher, attendant seat, and storage for EMS supplies. It is primarily used to gain access to patients in difficult areas our Utility vehicles cannot access, and is used for standby events as well. It is kept on a trailer, and can be pulled behind either one of the Utilities or any of the Chief's buggies.

Rescue 508

2006 E-One Cyclone II

Rescue 508 (R508) is a 2006 E-One Non-Walk-In Rescue. Powering Rescue 508 is a series 60 Detroit Diesel with multi-stage engine brake and retarder. Rescue 508 is equipped with the Amkus Ultimate System, with 6 pre-connected tools, and two different portable pumps. Additionally, it carries and assortment of airbags and other lifting and stabilizing equipment. Rescue 508 is also equipped with a 12,000 lb. front mounted winch and a portable 8,000 lb. winch that can be positioned on either side or the rear. It has a 30kW PTO driven generator, a 25’ tall light tower with six 1500 watt lamps, two 200’ cord reels, and quartz lights on all sides.

Utility 508A

Utility 508A (U508) is a 2005 Ford Excursion. Utility 508A is used to transport members to and from training, towing the Gator, and other various tasks.

Utility 508B

Utility 508B (U508B) is a 2005 Ford f-350. It is used to transport members to and from training, towing the Gator, and is equipped with a plow in the winter for calls in neighborhoods that have not been, or unable to be plowed by local public works.
